Who we are
We're dominaite. A team of doers, builders and believers with one simple conviction: small business is a big deal.
For decades, the best tools, the best data and the best intelligence were reserved for the giants. Small business got the scraps - clunky software, dumb hardware and an invoice at the end of every month.
We think it's about time that stopped.
So we're giving the corner café, the family shop, the food truck and the one-van plumber what only the giants used to have: a brain that thinks about the business, talks to the owner and works alongside the team.
Why we exist
Small business has been squeezed for decades. Too many tools. Too many logins. Too many fees. Every piece of software solves one slice of the day and hands the rest back to the owner.
The payment terminal reads the next card and forgets it five seconds later. The POS doesn't talk to the accounting system. The accounting system doesn't talk to the bank. Nothing talks to the customer sitting at the table.
Every one of those tools was built from the software's point of view - not the merchant's. Shops bend around the tools, instead of the tools bending around the shop.
And the owner? Left doing all the thinking. Alone. After closing. Mostly in their head.
We decided it was time to put an end to that.
We've built this before
We didn't get to dominaite by accident.
Some of us built payments companies from scratch. Some of us scaled them inside the category's biggest names. Between us, we've moved tens of billions of euros and dollars for small and medium businesses across dozens of markets. We've launched card acceptance in whole countries, put the terminals on shop counters, built the online checkouts small merchants rely on, and shipped the POS, invoicing, inventory and scheduling software that keeps a business running when nobody's looking.
And we've done all of it sitting next to the people using it. We've taken onboarding calls with shop owners. We've read their chargebacks. We've watched the same admin kill the same businesses in five different countries.
We know exactly what's broken. And what comes next isn't more tools. It's a brain.
What we're building

About the name
Say it out loud. It sounds like dominate. Look at how we spell it, and there's an extra letter hiding in there.
